Anemia is a disease of the blood when red blood cells below normal. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin that carries oxygen through the body, providing oxygen to tissues.
Anemia is caused by excessive loss of blood or red blood cell destruction or delivery inaqudete red blood cells. The loss of red blood cells may be through hard times. It would help iron production of red blood cells of the body.

They may have lost much blood, but it is best to consult to one Docter. Because I am not a doctor;)
